Right now one in eight Americans are struggling withhunger and it is critical that we keep our food banks well stocked. Cereal isespecially needed because it is convenient, shelf-stable and nutritious,” saidVicki Escarra, president and CEO of Feeding America. “Kellogg Company has beena long-time and significant donor, providing us with both substantial fundingand millions of pounds of food.They are a tremendous example of corporateAmerica stepping forward to help the nation in a time of great need.”"This is an unprecedented donation for Kellogg Company,” said David Mackay,president and CEO, Kellogg Company. “We wanted to dig a little deeper to helpthose Americans struggling to put food on their tables during these tougheconomic times and encourage others to give if they can as well.”Kellogg is also encouraging consumers to join them in the fight againsthunger. Beginning June 17, consumers can visit help feed a family in need as well as help fill their own pantry.

For everydonation of $5 or more to Feeding America, Kellogg will give consumers $5 incoupons towards their next purchase of Kellogg’s cereal. Kellogg Company has been a committed donor to Feeding America since they werefounded. Over the past 10 years, Kellogg has donated more than 224 millionpounds of food to Feeding America. Kellogg has contributed more than $40million in cash and $120 million in product to various charitableorganizations around the world over the last five years. Miami swept St.

Mary’s to remain atop the Baseball America Top 25 for a fifth straight week.  North Carolina also remained in the previous spot at No. 2, despite having the week off for exams.  Arizona State moved up one spot with a weekend series win at UCLA.  Florida State also moved up one spot to No. 4 with a pair of mid-week wins at Stetson, followed by a two game series win at Clemson.  Nebraska moved up one spot to No. 5 with a pair of mid-week wins over Western Illinois, and a weekend series win over Louisiana-Lafayette.  Stanford dropped three spots after a pair of mid-week losses, but bounced back to win their two weekend games against San Jose State.  Rice remained at No. 7 after having the week off for exams.  San Diego also remained in their previous spot with a weekend series win over Pepperdine.  Texas A&M continued their streak with a weekend series win over Dallas Baptist.  The Aggies will travel to Nebraska (5) this weekend.  Oklahoma State dropped one spot after winning three of four from Utah Valley State.  The Cowboys travel to Rice (7) this weekend.  Georgia continued their dominance in the SEC by taking a weekend series against Ole Miss.  Cal State Fullerton remained at No. 12 with a series win at UC Santa Barbara.  UC Irvine remained at No 13, followed by Wichita State at No.
